All My Mirror psychologists are AHPRA registered with a broad range of experience using evidence based care modalities to address a wide variety of mental health concerns. Common reasons to see a psychologist include, but are not limited to:

Anxiety disorders include generalised anxiety, social phobia, specific phobias (for example, agoraphobia and claustrophobia), panic disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and post-traumatic stress disorder.

Depression is a mood disorder characterised by lowering of mood, loss of interest and enjoyment, and reduced energy.

Traumatic events can happen at any age and can cause long-lasting harm. Everyone is affected differently by PTSD. Symptoms can range from subtle changes in day-to-day life, withdrawal and numbness, to distressing flashbacks or physical anxiety.

Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (abbreviated as ADHD, and sometimes referred to as ADD in the past) is a developmental disorder. ADHD affects the brain’s executive functioning — the ability to self-regulate and control thoughts, words, actions and emotions.

A psychologist can help support communication skill development and strategies for navigating and understanding challenging relationships.

A sleep disorder is a condition that prevents you from getting restful sleep and can cause daytime sleepiness and problems in functioning. Signs you may have a sleep disorder include persistent difficulty going to sleep or staying sleeping, irregular breathing or movement during sleep, and feeling sleepy during the day.

You do not need a diagnosable condition to benefit from psychological support. Many seek support in their own self development from general self esteem building to meaning and value development.
